Fresh Nest had a radio interview with VUMA FM, successfully ran a poultry training for 60 farmers in five provinces, created a job and hired an administrator, and exhibited at the Intra-African Trade Fair (AITF). Fresh Nest cabbages are now available at SPAR supermarkets.
The Centre invited SCNET to register entrepreneurs in their system. SCNET provides procurement solutions to assist buyers to discover credible and empowered suppliers, with powerful and secure online quote management technology.
Umgibe Farming exhibited in the following events: KZN Trade & Investment Indaba World Halal Day, hosted a Climate Action Workshop, and held a Market Harvest / Graduation Day of 21 small scale organic farmers. Agripreneurs received tools including a Gazebo per person, folded table, receipt book, table cloth, pull-up banner, 36 bottles and jars, labels, 400 business cards, a staple and paper bags.
The Themzak Group attended the IAFT and exhibited, received R2,000,000 funding from Operation Vula Fund, Won the National Small Business Champion Award and was a Top 20 Winner at the South African Business Awards 2021.
