The Centre organized a site visit to U&G Fabrics’ headquarters in Overport, Durban for clothing and textile entrepreneurs. The purpose of this visit was to give entrepreneurs the opportunity to open a fabric account with U&G Fabrics, as well as to learn more about textile and network with industry leaders. The entrepreneurs were instructed on various types of fabrics, fabric movement, patterns, dyeing, wash care symbols, and international wall coverings symbols.
Food and agro-processing entrepreneurs attended the DUT Biotechnology & Food Technology department’s Food Product Launch. The entrepreneurs who attended the launch had the opportunity to form partnerships with DUT Biotechnology industry experts and other product developers.
Izingodla Health and Get2Natural were selected by Durban Business Support to exhibit at the South Region Fair from 24-26 June at Mnyandu Mall in UMlazi. They both manufacture hygiene and cosmetic products.
