The Centre held a successful Purchasing workshop for entrepreneurs in the Furniture, Personal Care, and Chemical industries. Mr. Nevlin, Head of C&I at KZN OILS, and Mr. Nadim, Media, and Communication Manager, led the workshop.
The Centre for Social Entrepreneurship hosted Product and Deliveries training for food and agro-processing entrepreneurs. Mr. Vee Dilrajh, a food, and technology specialist educated these business owners on the necessity of food safety, packaging, and delivery. Mr. Vee has worked in the food industry for 21 years and in academia for 20 years. Food product creation, ingredient analysis, packaging (microbial, physical, and chemical), industrial food processing, and staff training are all areas of expertise.
The Centre hosted a Product Development and purchasing workshop for Clothing and Textile entrepreneurs. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Ed Besson and Mr. Rajen Naicker from ATASA.
