W&W TIP: Here’s a TIP:

WALNUT INK A great protective surface to use when you’re spraying walnut ink is a puppy tinkle
                                                           pad.

I love this stuff! I discovered it when I was These have plastic on the back and are very absorbent on the front. They can be
looking for a natural cold-finish material used for a lot of sprays before rolling them up and tossing them, and they are not
to use on my clay faces to define them, expensive.
something that could be wiped off but
would dry in the crevices of the clay. They are also good for laying out just-washed paint brushes to dry flat.

Now I use it in my encaustic work to define
incisions, in my collage work as a glaze
and unifying layer, and in creating collage
papers that have a vintage distressed look.
