Christmas Tournament
Highlights JV Hoopsters
The JV basketball team enjoyed a very successful year. First year Coach Marty Headd directed the team to many key victories giving the Brothers a 12-8 overall record. Members such as John Haas and Daryl Gladden proved their talent by playing guards as well as for­ wards. Paul Demore and Nelson Whitmorewere also outstanding on the court.
The team finished the season
with six straight wins. Some im­ pressive games were played against the previously undefeated Nottingham Bulldogs. The JV squad also won the annual invita­ tional Christmas Tournament by defeating Bishop Grimes and Fay­ etteville Manlius.
The quality of these young play­ ers should mean an exceptional Varsity team for the Brothers for the next season.
