"A jubilant man” best describes first year Frosh Cross- Country Coach Mr. Chick Kasouf. During the 1981 fall season, the dynamic assistant to Varsity Coach Jerome Riordan led the freshman to three first place finishes, three second place, a third and a fifth place score. Coach Kasouf has a right to be happy by any standard.
"I wanted to spark a sustained interest in running amoung the Freshman" was his observation on the goals of the season. That spark has succeeded in burning the competi tion. Fine contributions by Rob Toole, Ryan Hartley, Danny Wright, Bob Sweeny and Glen Fecco were integral to the outstanding performance of the team.
With the promise of well trained runners next fall, it seems clear that the Varsity Squad need not fearjune graduation.
Senior Mark Dobrzynski leads the pack.
