Homecoming week was a sucĀ
cessful event at CBA. Here Dave
Giamartino, Sarah Damico,
Adam Gaslorowski and Matt
Gangemi show the school spirit
that made the week such a hit.
At the end of the day tempers
can flare. Are these two stuĀ
dents taking out the frustrations
of a hard day's work on one
another?

Let's talk about curfews. Myself, I do not think they're great.
Some parents give them and some don't. I don't have one,
but most of my friends do. Their parents think it makes their
child more responsible. I agree with them there. Though I do
not want a curfew, it does take responsibility to have one.
If you have a curfew and do not want one, then you could
be reduced to sneaking in late. It takes some skill to sneak in
to your house after hours. You have to know the noises of your
house. You also have to have some idea of how to get in. You
must know your parents' routine and avoid being seen by
brothers and sisters who might tell on you. Kids try not to sneak
in late all the time but in some way they need to express their
point of view to their parents.
Some parents tend to be overprotective and should loosen
up so their kids can live a little. If you and your parents can
agree on a time to come home, try to get it late enough so
you won't have to break your curfew. Working with the system
may be tough, but it will show your parents that you are
responsible. Good luck!
