Farmington Valley Chorus

In general, this is what Farmington Valley thought of 2020… Huge ol’ raspberries!

Thank heavens it’s over and we’re warbling into 2021. We’re thinking positive, uplifting, happy thoughts
that in 2021 we WILL get back together on those risers singing “How We…” over and over.

Until then – Farmington Valley has made the best of the season. Our Ieva Higgins once again outdid
herself organizing a chorus video mashup of “Happy Holidays” complete with bloopers. It was shown on
the local TV station for the annual Simsbury Celebrates Festival along with other musical acts,
gingerbread houses and a fire truck parade. They featured us first. Wahoo! You can find it on our

We’re still meeting Zoom-ly every week with at least 30 of us showing up consistently, plus some guests,
granddaughters, nieces and friends gracing the tiny boxes in our computer screens. Our director, Cheryl,
and our music team work tirelessly to bring us some educational but mostly fun content that keeps us
coming back for more. And yes we sing - definitely on mute. (continued on next page)
