A SLICE OF PIE FOR BREAKFAST ON THE MORNING

                      AFTER Thanksgiving is a given. In fact, who among us

                      hasn’t said, “It’s fruit!” while shamelessly tucking into a

                      portion of apple pie? Whether it’s a slice after dinner, a

                      sliver  in  passing,  or  a  perfectly  sensible  breakfast,

                      sweet  pie  is  an  all-day  pleasure.  Here  are  fruit  pies,
                      chocolate  pies,  pies  filled  with  nuts,  custards,  and

                      creams—all  served  up  in  a  slab  pie  pan.  Gather  your

                      people. Any time is the right time for pie.
