Almon d  Butter  Cook ies:  Add  2  teaspoon s  grou nd  ginger to

                   the   dr y   ingredients,      substitute      salted     almon d      butter     for
                   the    peanut     butter,    and    replace     1   teaspoon      of   the   vanilla
                   extract     with     1   teaspoon        almon d       extract.      Add    1   cup

                   coa rsely  chopped,  toa sted  almon ds  if  desired,  or  roll  the
                   cookies in nely chop ped almon ds instead of the sugar.
