These simple pioneer candies are easy to make ahead for your Thanksgiving celebration.
Simply leave them in the mold in the refrigerator for up to 5 days before serving.
INGREDIENTS
1½ cups pure maple syrup
Special Tools
Candy thermometer
1” x 1” x ½” maple leaf candy mold
INSTRUCTIONS
1 Add syrup to a small saucepan over medium-low heat and bring to
280°F on a candy thermometer. Pour into molds and chill for 45
minutes.
2 To serve, place each candy in a square of wax paper, fold down
the top and bottom of the square, and twist the ends closed. Place
the wrapped candies in a serving bowl.
Serve as a sweet conclusion to a Thanksgiving meal!
