Makes 20 cookies

A Winnie-the-Pooh menu would not be complete without a tribute to Pooh’s favorite snack:
honey! These delicate butter cookies are a sweet conclusion to a Hundred Acre feast.
INGREDIENTS
For the Cookies
1 cup flour
⅛ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ cup powdered sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1½ teaspoons lemon zest
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
For the Icing
¼ cup powdered sugar
1½ teaspoons honey
¾ teaspoon lemon juice
Honeycomb candy, crushed (optional, see page 240)
INSTRUCTIONS
1 To make the cookies, whisk together the flour and baking powder
in a small bowl with a fork. Set aside.
