                                       Makes 1 cup candied walnuts

Looking for a sweet but healthy gift to give? Sugar doesn’t even make an appearance in this
recipe! Instead, all the sweetness comes from a kiss of honey. This dessert’s cozy flavors
and homey feel make it a perfect gift.

                INGREDIENTS

                 1 cup chopped walnuts
                 3 tablespoons honey

                 ½ teaspoon apple pie spice

                 ¼ teaspoon salt
                 ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

                INSTRUCTIONS

1 Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with tinfoil and coat

the foil with cooking spray. Set aside.

2 Add all the ingredients to a medium bowl and stir until well

combined. Spread the mix onto the tinfoil in a thin layer, breaking up

the clumps as much as possible.

3 Bake for 10 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

4 Allow the nuts to cool on the pan (approximately 15 minutes). The

coating on the nuts will harden.

5 When the nuts are completely cool, gently remove them from the
foil and break the chunks into bite-size pieces.
