ENABLING INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
Studies have revealed that of all students in India enrolled in Standard V, half cannot read
a Standard II textbook and 40% of Standard III students cannot recognize numbers up to
100. Keeping this in mind, AmritaRITE Centers start with elementary level assessments of
all enrolled children, identify their actual knowledge levels and start tutoring them from
that level. The tablet is an effective tool that bridges the gap in learning easily and
painlessly. Children learn through games and repeated practice. Technology-aided
after-school education support is provided by local-area tutors employed by AmritaRITE,
who are trained in tablet-aided education.
