Disasters affecting people across the world come in many


               forms.  The impact on Virgin Islands and territory schools is

               no different from across the nation.  Below you will find basic


               chronological events that have had major life-changing

               decisions on how we approach everything from the level of


               resiliency.






               September 6, 2017 — Hurricane IRMA






               September 17,  2017 — Hurricane Maria





               March  18, 2020 — School closed because of the Corona

         Background Information
                                               Virus (COVID-19).






               October 2020 — COVID-19 Pandemic still continues.  Masks

               must be worn or no service.  One must be 6 ft. apart socially


               distanced from each other.  Employees have a choice, in some


               cases, to work from home or work in the government

               buildings.
