Sculptural iron blocks are destroyed by powerful fire, releasing the rhythms
of compelling dramatic quality and suggestiveness. Steel surfaces are joined
together by adding molten iron or copper; thus, on these seams, a rough
texture oflumpy drops of iron is produced, structurally very close to Luketies
earlier Informel pieces. However, shiny steel surfaces, their rhythmicity, as
well as the compositional organization of their masses, clearly indicate a
change in the character of his sculpture.

rocks and the sea, where there is no falling into a steady rhythm; thus, possibly
unconsciously, scraping the metal surfaces and building the sculptural mass
with iron drops, he pondered and visually shaped the first impressions of the
physiognomy of the dry ivIontenegrin soil and stone, created in him through
his birth and growing up. The Informel character of his works is not referential
but highly personal, born equally from the philosophical beliefs of Informel
practice and from his own nature.
