STEM/Architecture and Construction/Arts, AV Technology,
and Communications
Graphics engineering experience opens up doors for students in
STEM careers, architectural, industrial and civil engineering fields
and manufacturing process planning. Focusing on Architecture
and Mechanical Design, students will prepare for actual work
situations through practical training using design software.
Engineering Graphics Technicians translate ideas from design
layouts, specifications, rough sketches, and calculations of
engineers & architects into working drawings, maps, plans, and
illustrations which are used in making products.
Prerequisites: Algebra I / Geometry

Engineering Graphics Technology I - (6170)
* Architectural Computer Graphics I - AET 111
*Introduction to CADD- EGT 151
*Technical Drawing - EGT 102
Engineering Graphics Technology II - Honors Level (6171)
*Architectural 3D Rendering - AET 235
*Principles of Parametric CADD - EGT 245
(Prerequisite: Grade of 77 or higher in each Engineering Graphics course, or
teacher recommendation to advance to the next level)
*College credit with AP weighting available through SCC
HS: Intern at Architectural, Construction or Engineering Company
2-yr: Associates Degree EngineeringTechnology
4-yr: Engineering, Architecture, Package Science Degree
