                    STEM/Information Technology

Students have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of
programming and game design. Students will also engage in fun,
collaborative activities where they learn to work in small teams
effectively while strengthening their critical thinking and problem
solving skills. Fundamentals of computer programming and
design, and major aspects of game design including character and
world development will be explored. Recommended; Computer
Programming with JAVA I & II before enrolling in Gaming Design &
Development.

            Computer Programming with JAVA II - (5053)

                Gaming Design & Development - (5352)
                 Small Business Development - (5400)

 (Prerequisite: Grade of 77 or higher in Computer Programming with JAVA I to
proceed to Computer Programming with JAVA II, or teacher recommendation)

  TAP credit (Spartanburg Community College) for Logic & Design
    Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE7 Programmer Certification

HS: Programming trainee or internship, Documentation specialist, Game
Design trainee or internship, Software trainer, Information Security Analyst

2-yr:JAVAprogrammer,App/Gameprogrammer, Softwaretrainer, Systems
analyst, Software engineer, User experience analyst, Level designer,

                              Information Security

4-yr: Systems engineer, IT developer manager, Database manager, User
Exp. analyst, Level Designer, Senior Systems Designer, Information Security
