                         JULIA METZLER  Mezzo-Soprano
                         Julia Metzler is a highly sought-after classical singer, concert
                         soloist and session singer. Raised in a musical family that
                         also runs the Metzler Violin Shop, her musical training began
                         at an early age as a violinist. Known for her versatility and
                         large vocal rage, Metzler regularly performs both soprano
                         and mezzo-soprano repertoire, from Marcellina in Le Nozze
                         di Figaro to the title role in Madama Butterfly, and both the
                         mezzo and soprano solos in Verdi’s Requiem.
      Her other recent operatic roles include Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito, Fiordiligi in
      Così fan tutte, Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Mrs. P in The Man who Mistook his
      Wife for a Hat, Ma in Missy Mazzoli’s Proving Up, and the title role in Gustav Holst’s
      Savitri. As a roster member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Metzler can frequently
      be heard performing at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Hollywood Bowl.

      ASHLEY FAATOALIA  Tenor
      Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ashley has been singing
      for  as  long  as  he  can  remember.  He  studied  voice  at
      Chapman  University  with  Dr.  Peter  Atherton  and  since
      then  he  has  been  performing  around  the  world.  In
      these  early  years  of  his  professional  career,  Faatoalia
      has  become  a  sought-after  vocalist  for  new  works  and
      experimental  projects  working  closely  with  composers
      from across the country, including Anthony Davis, Jessie
      Montgomery,  Lewis  Pesacov,  Rand  Steiger,  Christopher
      Cerrone, Anne LeBaron and more.
      Noted for his soaring tenor and warm stage presence, Faatoalia recent engagements
      include Remus in the premiere of the reimagined Treemonisha (Volcano Theatre of
      Toronto) Amadou in the West Coast premiere of Omar (LA Opera), Korey Wise in The
      Central Park Five (Long Beach Opera), Simón in The Three Women of Jerusalem (LA
      Opera) and more. He has also had the honor of singing The Star Spangled Banner to
      sold-out audiences at both Dodger Stadium and The Staples Center.
