Welcome to our

                     th
             30 Anniversary Season!

        Dear Friends,
We are devastated about the fires in the Los Angeles area that have impacted
the region. Our doors are open to all those who have been impacted. We will
make complimentary tickets available for the rest of the season to firefighters
and families that have been displaced. We hope this gift of music will be a
source of comfort and refuge during these difficult times.
We are excited to continue the Symphony’s outstanding history of performances
that dazzle and delight for our community. We hope you’ll be equally inspired
by the variety of music on display throughout the year. Our opening program
unleashes the burnished power of the orchestra with Tchaikovsky’s thrilling
Fourth Symphony. This concert also demonstrates our commitment to new work
and welcoming diverse cultures to share our stages.

We cherish our relationship with the New West Symphony Chorus, Los Robles
Children’s Choir and State Street Ballet. These community partnerships are
front and center for Orff’s Carmina Burana. We also know that music education
isn’t just for young people. In March, we will welcome thousands of area third
through fifth grade students for our annual Symphonic Adventures programs.
Marveling at the talents of artists like the Vieness Duo makes any work for two
pianos a feast for the senses.
Finally, our April program themed around anniversaries gives performers and
audiences alike a chance to relish in the expanse of music over the ages—
the variety of music in this program brings us particular joy. Not only do we
celebrate opera and symphonic genres, but we engage further partnerships
with Pepperdine University and Angels Vocal Art to highlight the extraordinary
development of music over 300 years!

Your support of New West Symphony’s mission “…to inspire passion for
symphonic music through live performances and education initiatives
that engage and enrich our diverse audiences” is essential and gratefully
appreciated. We can’t do any of this without you!
        Enjoy!
