Pneumatic Kelva LF Ink Pump:
Peristaltic Pumps:
Peristaltic Pumps are relevantly new in the market. The pipe is actually the heart of the pump. The
ink gets moved around by two, three or four wheels that rotate and squeezes the ink forward. This
action causes a smooth flow of ink to the chamber blade unit. There is no pulsing action that takes
place with this pump system. It stops foaming and stops ink from breaking down. The pump has a
switch reverse switch allows you to change the rotation of the ink flow. This allows for printers to
recover the ink that is trapped in the pipes and chamber blade system. This is a huge cost saving
to the customer. These pumps are idea for shear sensitive products like cold seal latex type
products.
APPLICATION AREAS:
The centrifugal pumps are mainly used in all gravure and coating applications. They are high
start-up cost and normally Flame proof and low cost to run.
The pneumatic double and single diaphragm pumps are mainly used in the Flexo packaging
and corrugated industries.
The peristaltic pumps are used by Label Printers and on gravure cold seal applications.
