APPLICATION AREAS:
The cleaning units can be a single head or double head. The single unit consist of a support roller,
elastomer rubber roller, web cleaning replacement roll and passive static brushes.
The double head consist of two elastomer rubber rollers, two web cleaning replacement rolls and an
active static unit. These units clean both sides of the web.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
The elastomer rubber roller is very tacky and is in direct contact with the substrate. The Elastomer
roller collects all the contamination that’s on the substrate and transfers it to the adhesive web
cleaned roll. Once the adhesive roll becomes contaminated and loses its tack the layer is removed.
This works like a paper roll towel. The adhesive roll has 60 sheets that are perforated. Once the
sheet is not collecting the dirt from the elastomer rubber roller the sheet is unwound until the cross
perforation is reached. Then the operator tears it off and disposes of the contaminated sheet.
