INTRODUCTION:

In an enclosed doctor blade chamber inking and coating system, the job of
the end seals is to keep the ink or coating from leaking out of the ends of
the chamber. Selecting the right end seals for your application is critical to
achieve proper doctor blade seating and prevent leaks. If used correctly,
these inexpensive consumables will ensure ink and coating quality and save
a printer thousands of Rand in waste, downtime and replacement of other
press parts due to premature wear.

MANUFACTURES OF CHAMBER BLADE UNIT FOR COATING UNITS:
There are several supplier of chamber blade units of which two are:

 TRESU chamber blade units;
o The Tresu units use black EPDM and clear Desmophan end seals:
 HARRIS & BRUNO chamber blade units;
o The Bruno & Harris units use felt or pre-soaked felt end seals:
