             rn  Take  5  paper  circles  of different sizes.
                  Write  a  letter  on  each  one.


             ~ Fold  each  circle  in  half.
                  Then  fold  it in  half again.
                  The  centre  is  where  the  2  folds  meet.  Mark it with  a  pencil.

             ~ With  a  ruler,  draw a  straight line  through
                  the  centre  from  one  side  to  another.





                  A  line  like  this  is  called the  diameter.









             ~ Draw  another straight line  from  the  centre  of
                  each  circle  to  its  edge.





                  A  line  like  this  is  called the  radius.



            rn:J  Glue  the  circles  into your  book.
                  On  each  one,  write  which  ruled  line  is
                  the  radius  and  which  is  the  diameter.
