CRUISE NIGHT – CARS,
HOTDOGS AND T-BONE
Tuesday, June 6, 5:00 – 8:00 PM
Classic cars from
the 1930’s to 1970’s
will gather in our
south parking lot
for a car show.
Hotdogs and beverages will be available for purchase. To add to the fun, live music for listening and dancing will be provided by T-Bone (Tom Stankus). This fun event will
be held OUTSIDE (bring a lawn chair if you’d like). Some tables and chairs will be set up too. Rain date: Wednesday, June 7. Advanced registration requested.
ART AUCTION
June 5 – 15, 2017
We thank the members of our Artists Studio who generously donated original paintings to the Senior Center for a silent auction. The auction will run from June 5 – 15. Interested members may enter bids for the painting(s) of their choice. Bidding will close at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 15. The highest bidder will purchase the painting, with all proceeds benefitting the Senior Center.
PICNIC AT MASONICARE
Friday, June 16, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Masonicare has invited the members of
the Wallingford Senior Center to a picnic under a tent on its front lawn. Picnic fare, drinks and desserts will be served. Musical entertainment will be provided, too! Members must register to attend no later than June 9. Please do not register unless you definitely plan to attend. We must provide Masonicare with an accurate count. A shuttle bus from the Senior Center will be available.
SENSATIONAL SIXTIES
TRI-TOWN DINNER

The Cheshire Senior Center is hosting this year’s Tri-Town Dinner. We’re taking you back to the 1960’s via food and music! The menu features chips and onion dip, fried chicken, tossed salad, potato salad, baked beans,
corn bread, and cheesecake with assorted toppings. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Sixties Satisfaction Band. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed
in their ‘60’s attire! Cost is $15.00. Seating is limited. Tickets on sale through June 9 or until sold out.
MEMORIES OF PATSY – FRIDAY NIGHT CONCERT

Patsy”. This incredible
tribute concert takes its
audience on a trip back
in time to the days when
Patsy Cline graced the
stages of America. This touring show has received rave reviews nationwide. Some of the great tunes you can expect to hear are Crazy, Walkin’ After Midnight, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams, and many more. Tickets are $15. Purchase your ticket in advance with your Senior Center ID card for $10. All tickets sold at the door are $15.

Attorneys Steven Allinson and Matthew Jalowiec will provide an overview of wills, estate planning and probate, with a primary focus on trusts. Learn about the different types of trusts (including revocable and irrevocable) used to protect your assets

SOUTH AFRICA TRAVEL PRESENTATION

Come discover details of the trip of a lifetime. “Spectacular South Africa: Culture and Nature in Harmony” is scheduled to depart February 15, 2018. Highlights of this 14-day trip include Kruger National Park (largest game reserve in S.A.), safari game drive, Johannesburg, Soweto, Cape Town, and much more. (Additional details in Travel Section.) Learn to design and create patriotic greeting cards with many different kinds of embellishments to be donated to the V.A. Hospital. No experience necessary. Linda Houle will teach you the tricks of the trade! Pre-registration is appreciated. The class fee is $4.00.
PAINT pARTy
Friday, June 9, 9:30 – 12:30
Everything you need to create the “Adirondacks by Sunset” painting will be provided at our Painting pARTy with Artist Sue Murphy. Sue will walk you through the painting step by step. The canvases are pre- drawn. No experience necessary! The cost is $30.00 per person. Advanced registration by June 7 is a must.
