• Prof Wen from the Hunan Agricultural University in Changsha, China visited the Library on 15 September 2023.
• Emöke Topalyai, from GBFE, Hungary visited the Library on 24 October 2023.

6 OUR SUPPORT FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING AND RESEARCH
6.1 Provision of library training
A total number of 16 011 clients were trained in 2023 (5 340 clients received individual training and 10 671 clients were trained in group sessions). Personal librarians delivered subject-specific training sessions for postgraduate students in various regions. A highlight for Unisa LIS was that one of the personal librarians for the College of Law, Ms Y Naidu was invited by the College to offer training and workshops on various library resources and services to postgraduate students in Eritrea. Similarly, one personal librarian for the College of Human Sciences, Tinyiko Ndhlovu provided training to postgraduate students in Durban. Branch librarians provided library orientation and created awareness of LIS during student registration at Sunnyside campus.
