Unisa hosted MIT students Ms Nailah J Smith and Ms Nadia Waid are undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Nailah (19 years) is from Atlanta, Georgia and Nadia (19 years) is from Des Moines, Iowa. They were both in South Africa as part of the MIT-Africa and South African Universities Program to work on a project at UNISA, the Central University of Technology (CUT) and the Durban University of Technology (DUT).
