What they do:
Not only do they provide meals to the
recipients but in some instances the
deliveries are the only contact that they
have with others. The organization also
acts as unofficial welfare checks. Meals
on wheels provide meals to seniors but
to those that have had surgery or are
otherwise sick and cannot get out.
