What they do:
When a child goes through sexual abuse,
they go through numerous interviews
and examinations. Retelling the
traumatic events over and over can be
terrible and can change. When it
changes, it wont stand up in court. With
Lori's place the child tells the story once
and that is used in court. For a victim this
is so therapeutic. they can then focus on
healing. Lori's place takes not only
children but all victims of different
abuse.
Why we love them:
I love knowing that a child can be helped
without having to relive the trauma over
and over.
