The Ultimate Gift
Sitting by the Christmas tree
looking at the shiny bright lights,
waiting to open the presents
in the early morning light
When wrapping paper, boxes
and ribbons are out of sight
And the Christmas gifts are put away,
is this why you celebrate Christmas day?
When this day as come and gone, what did Christmas mean to you? Hope in a new year that hopefully brings happiness and cheer!
Or hope in the Ultimate Christmas Gift that goes something like this
Long ago and far away, a bright star led the way, to a manager where, a child, the son of God, lay Wise men and Shepherds came to see
what good tidings would bring them so far,
to worship a Child, a Savior, a King,
That gave up everything to save mankind and bring an end to all suffering!
