               Planning	   the	   Body	   


               The	   body	   of	   the	   presentation	   should	   include	   all	   information	   that	   is	   relevant	   to	   the	   needs	   of	   
               the	   learner,	   in	   a	   manner	   that	   is	   interesting	   and	   reflects	   adult	   learning	   principles.	   	   

               	   
               To	   keep	   the	   learner’s	   attention:	   

               ‘Chunk’	   your	   information	   (by	   using	   topics	   and	   sub-  topics)	   	   
                   •  Consider	   how	   much	   information	   to	   give	   in	   one	   session	   (don’t	   overload)	   
                   •  Make	   sure	   you	   have	   a	   logical	   flow	   
                   •  Ask	   questions	   of	   the	   participants	   to	   involve	   them	   	   

                  •  Stay	   on	   track	   and	   avoid	   getting	   too	   far	   off	   topic	   during	   discussions	   –	   remember	   the	   
                      Adult	   Learning	   Principles
