Workshop
Samaritas held an employment workshop for 33 refugee clients representing eight countries - Syria, Iraq, Venezuela, Afghanistan,
Pakistan, Haiti, Uganda, and Ukraine. There was great discussion and learning about different cultures. The workshop was titled Keeping
a Job: Communication and Professionalism in the Workplace.

H Humble Design has been a wonderful partner of Samaritas
throughout the years. This past spring, another deserving
refugee family received a personal home makeover. This
Detroit organization designs and fully furnishes home interiors
for individuals, families, and veterans emerging from
homelessness, helping to create a place of dignity and peace,
Thanks to Cierra Jones and the Samaritas Resource team who Before After
helped facilitate the project.
