EXCITING NEWS IN MUSKEGON!
We are so pleased to announce that Samaritas has been
informed by the Michigan State Housing Development
Authority (MSHDA) that our application for tax credit
financing for the purpose of building an affordable housing
community for seniors in downtown Muskegon has been
approved. This project will include 54 new apartments in a
four story building that will also allow us to consolidate our
Child & Family services in the Muskegon area (e.g. adoption,
foster care, home-based counseling, administrative offices,
and persons with disabilities) into the bottom story of this
building. Consolidating our continuum of services into one
campus will enable us to provide these services with
maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
