English Week
English Week 2017 spanned over a period of 3 days in September (13-15 Sep 2017).
The event kicked off on the 1st day with an excursion to Singapore’s national broadcasting corporation, known as Mediacorp.
Students and teachers had the rare opportunity to explore what goes on behind the scenes during a television or radio broadcast.
Following the tour, students attended a workshop organized by the Singapore Media Academy on how to go about creating an
English game show concept and using the English language effectively. Our students received a Certificate of Participation at the
end of the Workshop.

The 2 day was a busy day for our students as they raced against time to create an English game show using specific English
language skills.

On the 3 day, the students had the challenging task of simultaneously hosting a game show and participating in them. It was a
day filled with fun and laughter where students learned English in a relaxed atmosphere.
