Ⅲ. SKIS 교육 중점 과제

1-3 International Week

Aim

가. This event will allow the students to participate in new and unique experiences
beyond their own communities.
나. This event will expose the students to people of different cultural and

geographic backgrounds and in so doing, provided them with the opportunity
for them to develop a greater understanding of diversity.

Operation Policy

가. Throughout this week, students will learn or talk about the countries around
the world in their respective classes.
나. After studying the different aspects of time and culture, students will

perform a variety of related tasks to show their understanding of the
material and practice their English in numerous different ways. Activities
may include art and craft making activities, performance based tasks,

cooking classes, etc

For example, classroom activities related to Malaysia may include:

1) Reading : Story telling etc
2) Art and crafts : making necklaces, collaging of pictures or flags, etc.
3) Performance : playing musical instruments/music, role-play etc

4) Cooking : making food of the time, food-tasting etc.
다. The Friday of International week will be the Parade Day.

The day before the Parade day, each classroom will be decorated with
banners, flags etc into respective country e.g India, China, Australia, USA.

Classes will showcase pictures and things associated with the country.
라. On the day of the event, there will be a Fashion Show where students get to
parade down in their costumes representing their countries. This parade will

take place in the hallway.
