2-3 Water Play
Aim
가. Students will explore the five senses through play with water.
나. Water play encourages the development of eye/hand coordination through
pouring, squeezing, stirring, painting, scrubbing, and squirting. Children
strengthen their gross motor skills by running, dodging water drops, and
hopping through a sprinkler.
Operation Policy
가. The day before the event, the Kindergarten teachers will set up the outdoor
playground with water play toys and supplies. Each teacher will be designated
a job for support.
나. On the day of the event, the Kindergarten classes will enter a rotation
schedule for playtime.
다. Students will arrive at school in their swim gear and bring an extra change of
clothes. Teachers will apply sun block to students before going outdoors.
라. Classroom teachers will explain rules and procedure to the children
beforehand.
마. Students will be allotted 30 minutes per day for water play. Teachers will
factor in time for an introduction to centers, time for children to clean up
and dry off.

가. Period (Term): Semester 1 2021
나. Date and Time: July 5th~9th
다. Target Groups of Students: All Kindergarten students
라. Place: Kindergarten Playground
마. Activity Guideline: Water Play activities such as water slides, water guns and
spray with the hose.
Pretend-play: Baby Bath Station, Laundry Station, Dino Small World, Coffee
shop, Sponge Tub, Ice Sensory Tank. Spay Bottles and cooking area etc
