2면 On 12 September, Grade 3 had a special exchange programme day with Punggol Primary School. The students from
Punggol Primary School visited our school, and everyone was excited to make new friends and learn about different

cultures. The day began with a Taekwondo session, taught by professional instructors. Everyone was actively involved,
•Assembly practicing jumping and spinning kicks. After the physical activities, it was time for some orange juice and a popular
•Elementary Speech Contest Korean snack, Chocopie. One of the highlights of the day was designing keyrings that featured the Korean flag. Our
•Chinese Week students explained the meaning and symbolism of the Korean flag and the Taegeukgi.

The students in Grade 4 continued our wonderful exchange with the Tonkla School in Chiang Mai from the previous

year. We wrote each other several letters and shared how we spent our summer vacation through beautifully written
letters with photos attached.
9면 Ideas were exchanged on the topic of Young Entrepreneurs on a zoom session we had, where all the students were very
excited to be “reunited” again! There were some new faces and it was great to be able to finally put faces to the names
•전교어린이회장단 인사 we are familiar with. The students from Tonkla School showed us some of their prototypes for the products they made
•교감선생님 말씀 for their Tradeshow, and we also presented some of our slides of what we had done. We managed to get some great tips
and ideas for our own Tradeshow from our friends!
We are very grateful to be able to continue this meaningful exchange with our Thai friends, and to learn more about
their culture. In the process, we also saw that although we live in different places and have different cultures, some of
our learning experiences are not so different from each other. We hope to be able to further strengthen our connections
with them in 2024!
