Craig Burgess beat North Yorkshire’s
Bronagh Malone 12 - 6. Bronagh’s
outstanding achievement was becoming
the first lady ever to have made the singles
final. In the semi-finals Bronagh beat
Michael Ivings 10 - 6 and Craig Burgess
beat D. Newsome 9 - 8

Shropshire’s Nick Tideswell & Chris
Williams took the National Pairs title with
an 11 - 4 win over a West Sussex pair. Nick
was a previous winner of the event in 2009
whilst Chris won the Triples title in 2009
and 2010.

Shropshire’s Chris Kearns, Glynn
Beresford, Nick Tideswell & Martin
Simcock became the fours Champions with
a 10 - 5 win over an Oxfordshire four. Nick
Tideswell’s other titles are listed above

North Yorkshire’s
Bronagh Malone
who made history
in the National
Singles being the
first female bowler
to reach that stage Triples Champions Edward Sawbridge,
in the 27 year Chris Weston & Chris Hopkins who
history of the scored an 11 - 3 win over a Dorset triple.
English National This was Chris Hopkin’s third Triples title
Championships with previous wins in 1995 and 2001.
