Ching Te and passed away on the
first year of Emperor Sung Chih
Ping's ascension to the throne, living
a life-span of fifty-eight (58) years.
He married lady Wu of the
Chen clan, a resident of Tsai Ching
hamlet, Szu Pin administrative
district, Te Hua County, Fu Chien
province. Two sons were born from
this marriage and they were named:-
1. Yan Hsin Chu and
2. Yan Hsin Ming respectively.
Their only daughter was the legal
wife of the Lin family in this district.
7th Generation (49 ) Pang word-

Yan Hsin Chu, eldest son of
forefather Yan Po Ta, styled Pang
Ning, was born during the reign of
Emperor Sung Tien Sheng and
passed away, when Emperor Sung
Hsi Ning was on the throne. At the
time of his demise, he was at the age
of forth six (46).
He married lady Chiu of the
Cheng clan, whose posthumous title
was Hui Tzu. She gave birth to two
sons, named
1. Yan Pei and
2. Yan Lin respectively.
Yan Hsin Ming, second son of
forefather Yan Po Ta, styled Pang
Chi, was born during the reign of
Emperor Sung Ching Yu and passed
away when Emperor Sung Yuan
Feng was on the throne at the age of
fifty-two (52) years old. He married
lady Pu of the Lin clan, who was an
inhabitant of Szu Pin administrative
unit, Te Hua County, Yung Chun

prefecture. Her posthumous title
was Chun Chieh and she gave birth
to two sons. The eldest son was
named: -
1. Yan I and the second was named
2. Yan Yan.
An only daughter was married off to
the eighth lord of the Chin family,
resident of Shang She hamlet in this
administrative unit.
8th Generation (50 ) Ping word-

Yan Pei, eldest son of forefather Yan
Pang Ning, styled Yuan Hsing as well
as Ping Hsing. He shifted and took
up permanent redisence at Hsi Yan,
Szu Pin administrative unit, Te Hua
County, Yung Chun.
Yan Lin, second son of fore-father
Yan Pang Ning, styled Yuan Ching,
as well as Ping Ching, moved out and
settled down at Tung Shan hamlet,
Ching Pai administrative unit, Pu
Cheng village, nineteenth capital,
Yung Chun County. He laid the
foundation and became the founding
ancestor of a branch of the Yan clan
in this locality. The First ancestor in
Tung Shan hamlet was also known
as the Forty-Second (42nd) lord
and forefather (similar to the
Japanese style of naming a person).
The deceased wife of the first
ancestor Yan Ling was from the
Cheng clan and she gave birth to one
son, named Yan Forty-Eighth
