Warren A. Perrin, Perrin, Landry, deLaunay, Lafayette, LA (Lafayette Parish, District 3)
Mr. Perrin is a founding partner of the law firm Perrin, Landry, deLaunay in Lafayette, LA. He earned
his law degree from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
Mr. Perrin served as president of CODOFIL (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana) from
1994-2010. In his role as President, Mr. Perrin supported Louisiana’s francophone communities through
scholarships and other community and language skill-building programs. He also served as President of
the Lt. Governor’s Task Force of Francofête 1999, and he is the owner of the Acadiana Museum of
Erath, Louisiana.
From 1995 to 2007, Mr. Perrin created three scholarships for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette:
Ella Mae B. Perrin Memorial Endowed Scholarship Modern Languages; Henry L. Perrin Memorial
Endowed Scholarship; and the Perrin, Landry, deLaunay, Dartez, Ouellet Endowed French Scholarship.
He is in the process of raising funds for a fourth scholarship, which will assist in sending a Louisiana
student to the University of Moncton School of Law in New Brunswick, Canada to study law in French.
Mr. Perrin is the recipient of several awards including the Cultural Preservation Award (2003) and the
Acadian Crusader Award (2008).
He resides in Lafayette with his wife Mary.
Marshall M. Redmon, Phelps Dunbar LLP, New Orleans, LA (Orleans Parish, District 1)
Mr. Redmon is a Managing Partner of Phelps Dunbar LLP in New Orleans, LA. He earned his law
degree from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Redmon founded L.I.G.H.T. (Lawyer’s Initiative Giving
Hospitals Thanks), which provides healthcare workers with meals while also supporting local
restaurants. Through donations from Phelps Dunbar LLP and approximately thirty other firms,
L.I.G.H.T. has raised more than $150,000 for the Krewe of Red Beans. The krewe used these donations
to serve thousands of meals to health care workers, keep restaurants afloat, and provide job opportunities
to out-of-work musicians.
Mr. Redmon also started a group of 35 managing partners in the Greater New Orleans area, with the
purpose of sharing information about challenges, successes, risks, and varying approaches by the legal
community to the pandemic.
Mr. Redmon was appointed to Mayor Cantrell’s Reopening New Orleans Advisory Panel to develop a
strategy for residents, visitors, and businesses for the city’s reopening. He was named a Louisiana Super
Lawyer from 2014-2019.
