                   1. Louisiana Access to Justice Commission and Loyola College of Law to Host ATJ
                       Conclave in March

The event will be held on March 3rd at the Louisiana Supreme Court in lieu of a scheduled
ATJ Commission meeting. Hosted by the Louisiana State Bar Association's Access to
Justice Commission (LSBA) and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law
(Loyola), the Access to Justice (ATJ) Conclave brings access to justice leaders together to
                       accomplish three goals:
                          • To introduce and engage new leaders and partners to Louisiana’s ATJ network,
                          • To increase efficiency and impact by strengthening ongoing cooperation,
coordination, and effective communication among access to justice stakeholders,
                              and,
                          • To identify priority projects for increasing access to justice (e.g., increasing
outreach and marketing to people with unmet legal needs regarding the services
                              and resources available).
Commission members and ATJ thought leaders will be invited to participate in highly
interactive conversations that will result in identifying strategic priorities to guide access
to justice efforts by the LSBA, Loyola, and other interested stakeholders over the next
several years. LSBA President Stephen Dwyer and Dean Madeleine Landrieu, who
proposed the event, will lead the meeting alongside former Louisiana Justice For All
                       Consultant Tara Veazey.
