ATJ Developing Leadership Intern program as a
                                                       sponsor for Loyola College of Law.
                                                   ▪  Two of the 2022 ATJ interns have been selected and the
                                                       selection process is about to finish for the other two
                                                       interns. Program planning is ongoing and the 2022
                                                       schedule is being developed. This year’s program will
                                                       begin on Monday, May 16th and end on Friday, June
                                                       24th.
                                                   ▪  The 2022 ATJ Developing Leadership Intern program
                                                       began on Monday, May 16th and ended on Friday, June
                                                       24th with four interns, one from each of Louisiana’s four
                                                       law schools. Interns will spend the time with various civil
                                                       legal aid organizations and district judges over the six
                                                       week internship. This year’s sponsors include: Entergy,
                                                       Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore LLC,  LSU Paul M.
                                                       Hebert Law Center, and Phelps Dunbar, LLP.
                                                   ▪  Currently, the ATJ Department is working to confirm
                                                       sponsors for the 2023 program.
                                            o  Participate in LSU Apprenticeship Week
                                                The ATJ program participated in the 2019 & 2020 LSU
                                                Apprenticeship week with a course titled Serving the Public and
                                                the Profession. The 2021 LSU Apprenticeship week program
                                                was canceled.
                                                Facilitated course curriculum for 2022 LSU Apprenticeship
                                                Week Program that centered around the spectrum of legal
                                                services available to low income Louisianans. The curriculum
                                                included several practical skills training exercises and client
                                                interview simulations, hands-on training in drafting answers to
                                                legal questions on Free Legal Answers, and completing a draft
                                                SRL petition based on a family law hypothetical. This year’s
                                                program also featured guest speakers: Alainna Mire, Chris
                                                Ralston, Greg Landry, Professor Virginia Listach, and Judge
                                                Lisa Woodruff-White.
                                                The ATJ Department will be participating in the 2023 LSU
                                                Apprenticeship week.
                                            o  Coordinate outreach on children’s and disability law job
                                                opportunities
                                                   ▪  Members of the Children’s Law and LSPD Committees
                                                       offered interview skills trainings for law students at
                                                       Tulane University, at Loyola University, and at LSU’s
                                                       Apprenticeship week.
                                                   ▪  The LSU Public Interest Law Society has volunteered to
