       HON. RANDALL L. BETHANCOURT    The LCLCE is pleased to provide you and the LSBA Board of Governors with a
        IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
                                      report  on  the  activities  of     the  Louisiana  Center  for  Law  and  Civic  Education

                                      (LCLCE).  As  set  forth  below,  the  LCLCE  continues  to  promote  and  support

                                      educational programming in support of the rule of law in a variety of ways.
          BOARD OF DIRECTORS


              ELI J. ABAD             The  2022-23  Board  will  include  the  LSBA  2022-23  YLD  designee,  Graham  H.

                                      Ryan. Judge Shayna Beevers Morvant will serve as President.

         LAWRENCE J. CENTOLA, III     Since our last report on April 1, 2022, the LCLCE finalized plans to present a four-

                                      hour CLE at the LSBA Annual Meeting and Joint LSBA/LJC Summer School. There

                                      will  be  a  three-hour  judges    and  lawyers  training  on  conducting  Adult  Civics

         HON. SCOTT J. CRICHTON       Education programs, a presentation by Louisiana Supreme Court Chief Justice John

                                      L.  Weimer,  followed  by  Louisiana  Supreme  Court  Associate  Justice  Scott  J.

            BRIAN ENGERON             Crichton’s program on “Crime, Consequences and the Power of Choice”. There will

                                      the Louisiana Supreme Courthouse in July.

            JEFFREY D. HUFFT          The  Judge  Benjamin  Jones     Judges  in  the  Classroom  Award  Committee  selected

                                      Associate Justice Scott Crichton as this year’s recipient. The award presentation will

           BETTY ANN MAURY            Multiple Lawyers/Judges in the Classroom presentations were organized benefitting

                                      more than 1800 students statewide.

          HON. JOHN J. MOLAISON       The LCLCE continues to be an active participant of Chief Justice Weimer’s “Judges

                                      Imparting Knowledge, Education & Skills Task Force”. In addition to the LCLCE’s
