The Access to Justice Department held the 21st annual Louisiana Justice Community
Conference. This two-day conference included 15 sessions and 9 hours of CLE credit
allowing the more than 160 civil legal aid attorneys from across Louisiana in attendance to
learn, network, and collaborate free of charge.
- Funded by the Louisiana Bar Foundation, a Domestic Violence conference was held in
conjunction with LJCC. The conference meant to train new attorneys focusing on
domestic violence issues. The DV conference included 5 hours of CLE with one hour of
ethics, all CLE was also approved for family law specialization.
- The CINC Pre-Conference was held at LJCC, where over 30 CINC attorneys came
together for a full day of professional development and learning about a range of topics.
- A huge thanks to the Louisiana Bar Foundation for sponsoring this year’s Public Interest
Networking Reception at Juban’s, a lovely event that included games and door prizes.
