Cause and effect writing explores the relationships between
events or situations, focusing on how one or more factors (causes)
lead to certain outcomes (effects). Whether in a paragraph or
a full essay, this type of writing helps readers understand the
connection between different elements, providing insights into
why things happen and what their consequences might be.
Definition:
A report text is a text that serves to provide information
about something/an event/a situation obtained after conducting
investigations and considerations about it. This text is obtained
as a result of observing and analyzing a condition systematically
and is generally applicable.
Characteristic:
1. Contains scientific facts
2. The text title usually looks more general
3. Commonly use simple present tense
4. Contains general classification
