                                                                                 around the world.                                             The Exceptional Family Member Program provides respite care
                                                                                                                                            free of charge to active-duty Airman, Air Guard and Reserve mem-
                                                                                                                                            bers who have been activated for at least 31 days. Providers will
                                                                                                                                            be paid hourly by the contracted provider. An exceptional family
                                                                                                                                            member child is age birth through 18 who has been diagnosed with
                                                                                                                                            a severe or moderate special need. Siblings, age birth through 12,
                                                                                                                                            are also covered for respite care. Families receive 12 hours per
                                                                                                                                            month of free respite care per EFM child. For more information,

                                                                                                                                               The 56th Force Support Squadron Outdoor Recreation is featur-
                                                                                                                                            ing the Luke Air Force Base family camp out 4 p.m. Oct. 16 through
                                                                                                                                            breakfast Oct. 17. The cost is $10 for a family of four and $5 for
                                                                                                                                            each additional member. Bring a tent or rent a camping package
                                                                                                                                            at ODR for $15. It includes a tent and four sleeping bags. To make

                                                                                                                                            NCOPEC

                                                                                                                                               NCO Professional Enhancement Course offers staff and technical
                                                                                                                                            sergeants an opportunity to interact with their peers while enhanc-
                                                                                                                                            ing supervisory skills. It is a developmental course with a focus on
                                                                                                                                            the NCO tier who have completed Airman Leadership School three
                                                                                                                                            or more years ago but have not yet attended NCO Academy. The
                                                                                                                                            course is four full days and requires leadership approval. The class
                                                                                                                                            date is Tuesday through Sept. 18 at the ALS auditorium, Bldg 156.
