Mandatory Requirement: All exhibitors 9 – 19yrs. old MUST obtain annual certification in the YQCA program. Those not certified are not eligible to participate at any California Fairs. State Rule II # 12. Certificate is due by August 1, 2020 to the Entry Office or livestock@avfair.com. YQCA information is at yqca.org
Entries Close: July 18, 2020 – 5 p.m. Late Entries – Check with Livestock Office, late fees apply.
Entry Fee: $10.00 per entry per class
Exhibits Received: 10am- 2pm Friday August 28th (Pens not guaranteed) 7am-8:30am Saturday August 29th
Papers Check-in: UPON ENTRY TO FAIR GROUNDS
Judging Time: 10am Saturday August 29th WALK OUT directly following completion of show American System of Judging

RULES for Registered Classes:
1. Entries Close - July 18, 2020, (must be received by this date or earlier). Entries may close sooner if capacity is reached. For further information contact the Livestock Department at 661-948-6060 ext. 226
2. Age of Animals - Birth dates, as listed on the registration certificate, will be used to determine class entries.
3. Eligibility - Only animals registered in American Boer Goat Association may be shown, you must have ABGA papers to show.
4. Proof of ownership shall be the name on the registered document. Persons showing animals whose registration certificates
have signed transfers that have not been processed by the American Boer Goat Association, Inc. must show those animals as
agent for the owner on American Boer Goat Association, Inc. records.
5. Breeding - all animals must be registered purebred or percentage blood Boer Goats. The registration papers and tattoos or
other means of permanent identification must match the one on the registration certificate or the animal will not be shown. If the animal has a microchip as its permanent identification, the exhibitor is responsible for providing a microchip reader. Tattoo policy will be strictly enforced.
