AV Fair and Event Center Exhibit Entry Guide 2020
PERFORMANCE
Be sure to refer to all applicable state and local rules for the divisions you enter! Open and Junior Rules:
1. Classes are open to any age of Llama five (5) months of age and over except if otherwise specified in the class requirements.
The judge shall make the final inspection of the course to ensure its safety. A diagram of all courses will be posted at least one
hour before the scheduled show.
2. Only voice and hand commands may be used in exhibiting animals. The use of food, clickers, or any other device is strictly
prohibited. No written notes may be used in performance classes.
3. A Llama may be entered in only one division of the respected class. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to enter

To be eligible, a Llama must be entered and shown in Halter and all 3 classes of Point Performance, not necessarily by the same handler. ALSA membership is not required. LASC high point guidelines will be applied to all divisions.
YOUTH PERFORMANCE CLASSES

ENTRY FEE: $5.00 per entry per class
PREMIUMS OFFERED PER CLASS: 1st-$10 2nd- $8 3rd- $6 4th- $4 5th-$2 6th- $1
Special Rules:
1. Only the exhibitor/handler can prepare the llama for showmanship.
2. If the youth is a member of an organization, we would like the exhibitor to wear their organization’s uniform. 3. Each exhibitor shall show one llama, but more than one exhibitor may show the same Llama.
4. Age of exhibitor must be on the entry form.
5. Handler, if member of ALSA will receive points.

LLAMA DISPLAY CONTEST

ENTRY FEE: None
This competition honors exhibitors who use attractive, innovative display techniques to promote Llamas. The preparation of this display and the care of the exhibit will be taken into consideration during the judging of the award. RANCHES WITH 6 plus ANI- MALS ENTERED WILL BE GIVEN A DISPLAY AREA NO LARGER THAN 7’X14’.
