4. Unruly animals may be dismissed from the ring by the ring steward or the judge.
5. No ranch, personal or llamas names shall be displayed on the exhibitor or the animal while in the ring.
6. All animals must be shown in the correct age (as per first day of fair) and sex classification.
7. Llamas may be entered in only one halter wool class.
8. Classes may be combined or divided depending on the size.
9. Exhibitors ages 8 and over may show llamas. It is recommended that youth 8-12 not show intact males over 24 months of
age. The judge has the option to dismiss an exhibitor with an unruly animal. Dismissal can take place even before the animal
gets in the ring if the matter is brought to the judges attention by show management, gate personnel, or the ring steward.
10. Exhibitors are responsible for being at ring side ten min. before the scheduled time of their class.
11. Llamas may not be moved from one class to another after halter judging has begun, except at the judge’s discretion.

DIVISION 1
SURI WOOL – Fiber characterized by absence of crimp and minimal loft with distinctive and defined lock structure.
DIVISION 2
LIGHT WOOL – Minimal body wool, short neck wool, with smooth legs
Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 4 all use the same classes as follows:
Males
CLASS:
1. Juvenile, 5 through 12 months 2. Yearling, 13 through 24 months 3. 2 year old, 25 to 36 months
4. Adults, 37 months and over
Grand Champion Male Reserve
Grand Champion Male DIVISION 5 NON-BREEDING LLAMAS Requirements:
DIVISION 3
HEAVY WOOL
Moderate to long body wool, minimal to moderate neck wool, smooth to moderate leg wool
DIVISION 4
MEDIUM WOOL
Abundant body and neck wool with minimal to abundant leg wool, leg wool at least to knee and hock.
Females
CLASS:
5. Juvenile, 5 through 12 months 6. Yearling, 13 through 24 months 7. 2 year old, 25 to 36 month
8. Adults, 37 months and over Grand Champion Female Reserve Grand Champion Female
1. These classes are for geldings, vasectomized males and spayed or non-reproductive females that are suitable for other pur- poses.
2. These llamas must be accompanied by a registration or veterinarian certificate verifying the above condition.
3. There are no sex or wool divisions in this division.
4. Llamas may be combined at the show if there are fewer than three llamas in a class.

Supreme Champion Llama Halter
Supreme Champion Llama Halter will be selected from all Grand Champions Llama Divisions 1-5

GROUPS
CLASS:
1. Get of Sire: Each entry must include only three offspring by the same sire. The Get must represent offspring by at least two dams. The Sire is entered in this class but will not be shown.
2. Produce of Dam: Each entry must include only two offspring by the same dam. The Produce may be represented by offspring of either sex. The Dam is entered in this class but will not show.
