NPGA Sanctioned, Rules to govern and take precedence over all others.
Mandatory Requirement: In order to participate in a youth livestock program (excluding horse, cavies & dogs) at any California Fair, all exhibitors 9 yrs. and older MUST obtain annual certification in the YQCA program. Those not certified are not eligible to participate at any California Fairs. State Rule II # 12. Certificate is due by August 1, 2020 to the Entry Office or livestock@avfair.com. YQCA information is at yqca.org
Entries Close: July 18th, 2020, 5:00pm
Entry Fee: $6 per entry per class
Limit: Two (2) entries per exhibitor per class
Exhibits Received: Friday August 28th 7am- 9:30am

Judging Time: August 28th: 10:30am
Exhibits Released: Walk out ONLY, directly following the conclusion of the show American System of Judging

Exhibitors MUST clean pens before obtaining a release slip from the Livestock Office. (Pen cleaning is available for a $5.00 fee in the Entry Office.)
*Any Exhibitor 5 - 8 years old (as of Dec. 31, 2019) must be accompanied by a Youth Exhibitor at least 10 years old that has shown an animal before. A signed Release & Waiver of Liability Agreement will be required. Available in the Entry Office or Online at avfair.com. Exhibitors 5-8 years old, cannot do Showmanship.
